We are seeking a motivated engineer to develop systems for our underwater business for Imaging and Periscope applications. What kind of work will you do as a new hire? - Work in collaboration with a diverse team of technical professionals - Work in Continuous Integration/Continuous development environment supporting Agile Methodologies - Provide System Engineering services across all Engineering disciplines critical to developing and testing operational capabilities into an integrated architecture. - Develop solution designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology Must have:
- The ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance at a Secret Level - GPA 3.0 or above Basic
Qualifications:
- BS degree from an accredited college in Engineering/Computer Science or related information technology discipline - Development experience with an Object-Oriented Programming language like Java or C+
- Scripting language experience such as JavaScript, SQL or Python - Ability to obtain Security clearance at Secret Level Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of Linux based systems and basic networking concepts in order to utilize server-based resources. - Proficiency in SQL or SQL/PL scripting in order to utilize advanced Oracle database functions. - Proficiency in Java/C+
for developing data analysis algorithms and logging functions o Ability to optimize algorithms and code to minimize running time - Familiarity with Git (understanding how to manage a repo) - Familiarity with Google Protobuf in order to create language independent messages Other Important Information You Should Know Expression of Interest:
