Office Manager/Personal Assistant CMI Companies is proud to be a successful family owned, Virginia based small business that specializes in commercial electrical services.
We are looking for a motivated Office Manager and Personal Assistant to support our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, natural leader able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure.
This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities Manage 2-5 direct reports.
Oversee daily operations of onsite employees to ensure they work productively and meet deadlines and company standards.
Prepare and report office progress to management and work with them to improve company operations.
Handle escalations from customers and direct them to relevant management when necessary.
Act as main Point of Contact between management and customers.
Partner with management to update and maintain company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with office vendors, including cleaning, catering, IT, and security services to keep the office clean, safe, and ensure all office equipment stays in good working order.
Monitor and track office supply orders, furniture, and electronics.
Maintain contact lists, schedule meetings, appointments, travel arrangements etc.
for techs and management.
Onboard and train new office employees and assist operations manager in onboarding other company staff.
Lead any additional tasks assigned by the operations manager (e.
g.
invoicing, filing etc.
) Qualifications Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Lead Administrative Assistant Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular) Hands on experience with office machines (laptop, printer, etc.
) Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
