Working from our Richmond office, but mainly in the field meeting property owners at their property.
Candidates residing in the Greater Richmond Area are encouraged to apply.
Using an approved methodology, you will secure access (Right-of-Way) to private property so that our client can place power lines underground lessening the likelihood of a power outage during inclement weather.
Responsibilities:
A Right-of-Way Agent is assigned specific areas and uses pre-surveyed plans, working independently, to secure permits and other agreements to place power lines and equipment on and/or thru private property.
Identify areas where access issues require modifications to the field-engineering plan and secure additional permits as needed.
Through mailings, calling and visiting to individual property owners, secure signed permissions (Right-of-Way) and submit for client approval.
Multiple visits may be required until all approvals and /or documentation are secured.
Qualifications:
No previous Right of Way experience required for this position High school certification required Prior real estate, mortgage, education, consulting, or sales experience preferred.
