Summary:
The Account Support Representative will interact with the company's clients while providing support to Account Managers on case management tasks.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Assists Account Managers with daily tasks and client requests.
Processes and distributes daily reports to clients.
Interacts with clients via telephone or email to provide support and complete case management tasks.
Performs data entry or research projects as assigned.
Performs quality control audits between data entry and insurance documents.
Fields client questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the Account Manager.
Maintains client accounts and records of client interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions for recurring tasks Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment Insurance knowledge is preferred but not required.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
