Synopsis of Role:
The Marketing Coordinator provides administrative and project management support for marketing communications functions. This position is responsible for supporting, creating, executing, and evaluating programs and marketing strategies for student growth initiatives, to include print advertising placements, promotional items, and brand messaging initiatives.

Essential Functions:
Assists with the execution and management of integrated marketing campaigns, including printing and assembling of materials, coordinating execution, and tracking results.
Coordinates and submits advertising creative according to ad placement schedule; maintains placement schedule and files on all relevant trade publications; validates insertions and expenses; and tracks results of 150-200 unique publications with 2-40 insertions annually per publication.
Oversees quarterly launches of new course catalogs, including managing the necessary changes to existing marketing collateral and facilitating the creation of new collateral for new program launches.
Facilitates research and ordering of promotional items for multiple vertical stakeholders; builds upon established vendor relationships.
Manages inventory and customer service for internal fulfillment system.
Submits vendor invoices for internal process and budget approvals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Standard office environment in Manassas, VA.
Ability to telecommute on select business days according to business need and supervisor approval.
Required Skills
Strong Microsoft Office and Internet research skills (experience using PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Excel to create and edit spreadsheets with formulas and manipulate data within reports to extract pertinent information).

Required Experience
Bachelor''s degree in marketing or a similar field required.
Marketing experience, including experience supporting logistics, projects, and event coordination.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
