SWIFT has on-going requirements for people with this skill set for positions in our office in in Culpeper, VA. Roles regularly become available throughout the year, and we are currently seeking expressions of interest for opportunities that will arise in 2017.
This person works with business areas, vendors, and other information systems professionals to identify, design, implement and support innovative security solutions, processes and procedures. Responsible for monitoring, assessing and reviewing the rule base and configuration of systems supporting vulnerability assessments, compliance and intrusion detection. This position provides direct support to the business and IT staff for information security related issues. Provides technical direction to other engineers as needed. The level of work is highly complex and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. We will have positions at entry level, mid level, and senior level as well.
Responsibilities:
Creates, reviews and implements national security standards and specifications
Evaluates and implements security products and/or processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness for various platforms and initiatives
Performs incident response activities for highly complex security events
Performs forensics and detailed technical investigations
Monitors information security policy compliance using various security tools
Conducts vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of information systems
Develops technical solutions to mitigate identified vulnerabilities
Consults and provides information security expertise to support various projects
Performs detailed security reviews of information systems
Implements, develops, and maintains hardware and software tools used to support Information Security functions
Performs system and database administration for Information Security operated systems and applications
Acts as a technical or security advisor in risk management processes
Qualifications:
University Degree in Computer Science or Cyber related
Experience working in an IP Networks based environment, in support, testing or development
Work experience with Scripting languages such as PHP, Perl or Python and databases such as MySQL, and knowledge of Unix and Windows is an asset.
Knowledge of intrusion detection and vulnerability assessment capabilities is an asset
Any relevant professional experience or security certification will be considered an asset
Ability to learn in fast-paced, multi-dimensional, technical environment
Strong analytical and communication skills
Self-driven as well as be a good team player
Must be authorized to work in The United States

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
