Project Control Analyst

Cape Fox Shared Services is seeking an experienced Project Control Analyst.
Primary duties are below:
Responsible for overall company's direct projects setup for Federal Government for T&M, FFP, and CPFF contracts in Deltek, Costpoint.
Setup new projects in accordance with the contract; participated in new project setup meetings to ensure project setup optimizes accounting software capabilities for project revenue, billing, and reporting utilizing DELTEK Costpoint and COGNOS.
ReviewA' the detailed costs to ensure accuracy in recording; prepare correction forms for non-labor adjustments; coordinate with employees for required timesheets correction.
MonitorA' contract funding and coordinate with project leaders and contract admins for required notifications on limitations and requests for additional funding or submitting the risk authorization as needed.
WorkA' with team members, to develop and support the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) of the project/task number structures and provide new ideas how to improve our project control processes and procedures.
Support the Program Manager to successfully manage the cost, schedule, and performance of the contract.
Develop plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program Participate in establishing and defining program plan requirements Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met Work closely with Project Managers in monthly forecasting and analyze variances to previous forecast and budget.
Monitor and control costs to ensure costs stay within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Perform detailed reporting and analysis of monthly financial information, compare budget and actual costs incurred, perform thorough cost variance and trend analysis as well as proactively monitor and maintain accurate expenditures and financial swings from month to month.
SupportA' internal and external audits as needed and ensureA' policies and procedures are met.
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but equivalent years of experience can be substituted.
A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is preferred.
Strong Costpoint and Microsoft Office Suite skills with advanced proficiency in Excel are required.
Experience with federal government contractor accounting is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
