Job DescriptionInova Juniper Program in Manassas, VA is seeking a passionate Medical Assistant to join their dedicated team of healthcare professionals!Inova Juniper Program is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care.

Provides patient care, clerical and environmental control services in the physician outpatient practice according to established policies and procedures.
Utilizes information to continuously improve patient care and practice to enhance outcomes.
Communicates/collaborates with physicians and staff to provide coordinated, safe and compassionate care for patients.
Participates in continuing education activities that enhance employee's professional abilities and ensure up-to-date patient care.

Experience:
Previous experience in a medical group practice or similar situation preferred.
Education:
High School or GED and graduation from an accredited program for Medical AssistantsCertification:
Certified MA, BLSSpecial Skills:
Medical terminology, proficient in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills and competent with basic computer skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
