The Fab 6 Manufacturing IT Applications team, comprised of software engineers, manages the many applications and systems that support our state-of-the-art highly automated 300mm fab. The team works closely with developers, Software Quality Assurance (SQA) testers, Infrastructure teams, end-users, and peers at other Micron locations worldwide to provide resilient services. This team is tasked with the critical responsibility of maximizing the availability of all MFG IT services including but not limited to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Statistical Process Control solutions (SPC), Recipe Management, Equipment Tracking, Engineering analytic solutions, and Scheduling systems.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Reacting to and managing Incidents within the Service Now module
- BuildingMaintainingReacting to monitoring solutions
- Document and keep up to date system knowledge including solutions and recovery procedures
- Participate in and potentially lead a Major Incident situation
- Provide 24hr on call coverage on a rotation basis
- Demonstrate subject matter expert (SME) capabilities in more than one internal domain
- Develop software solutions to fix repeat incidents
- Follow software deployment procedures to deliver high quality solutions to MFG with no impact to operations
- Review and validate changes for systems of ownership
- Develop software automation to aid in auto deployment of software
- Participate in Problem Management processes investigating root cause and providing preventive solutions for repeat or highly critical incidents.
- Develop software recovery automation to reduce or avoid impact of events with known signatures.
- Develop software solutions to aid in patching and building out new capacity.

Education:
